【摘要】:Internaltemperaturemeasurementsaremadeonbothin-flightvehiclesandon-groundtestspecimens;and,becauseoftheimportanceofthetemperaturemeasurementstothedesignofvariousmissileandspacecraftheatshields,itisessentialthatcarebetakentominimizethesourcesoferrorinobtainingthesemeasurements.Overthepastseveralyears,theproblemsofusingthermocouplestoobtainaccuratetemperaturemeasurementsinlow-conductivityspecimenshavebeenstudiedbyvariouspeopletoisolatethesourcesoferrorandtoestablishimprovedtemperaturemeasurementtechniques.Themajorsourcesoferrorarelistedinthisdocumentandrecommendedsolutionstotheproblemsaregiven.1.1Thispracticecoversmethodsforinstrumentinglow-conductivityspecimensfortestinginanenvironmentsubjecttorapidthermalchangessuchasproducedbyrocketmotors,atmosphericre-entry,electric-arcplasmaheaters,etc.Specifically,practicesforbare-wirethermocoupleinstrumentationapplicabletosheath-typethermocouplesarediscussed.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
