【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingtheNoackevaporationlossoflubricatingoilsusingathermogravimetricanalyzertest(TGA).ThetestmethodisapplicabletobasestocksandfullyformulatedlubricantoilshavingaNoackevaporativelossrangingfrom0to30mass%.Thisprocedurerequiresmuchsmallerspecimens,andisfasterwhenmultiplesamplesaresequentiallyanalyzed,andsaferthanthestandardNoackmethodusingWood'smetal.TheevaporativelossdeterminedbythistestmethodisthesameasthatdeterminedusingthestandardNoacktestmethods.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
