【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesthemaindimensionalanddesigncharacteristics,ratings,testmethods,andoperationalrequirementsofswaptankstobeusedwithindomesticandinternationalmultimodaltrafficbyroad,rail,shortsea,inlandwaterways,Ro/Ro,orferrytransport.Swaptanksarenotintendedforintercontinentaldeep-seatraffic.Exceptwhereotherwisestated,therequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardareminimafordesignandmaximaforoperation.BesidestherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandard,additional(European)safetyandtransportrequirementscanapply.Swaptankstobeusedforthecarriageofdangerousgoodsaresubjecttonationalandinternationalrequirementsasappliedbythecompetentauthorities.NOTE.Internationalrequirementsare,forexample:-forthetransportationofdangerousgoods:ADR,RID,IMO/IMDG,UNMM'Orangebook';-forthetransportationofperishablegoods:ATP;-forsafetyandcustomsconventions:CCC,CSC,TIR.(seeannexA).
