【摘要】:Thegasketscoveredbythispracticecanbeusedon,butarenotlimitedto,equipmentconstructedofthefollowingmaterials:(a)stoneware,(b)glassandglass-lined,(c)tantalum(solidandlined),(d)titanium(solidandlinedorclad),(e)zirconium(solidandlinedorclad),(f)silver(solidandlined),and(g)nickelandnickelalloys(solidandclad).Thegasketsprovidedforhereinareforthefollowing:(a)pipeflanges(flatorraisedface),(b)vesselnozzles,(c)circularopeningsinvesselsinexcessof12in.(305mm)diameter,and(d)ovalopeningsinvessels.1.1Thispracticecoversthedesigns,sizes,classifications,andconstructionofenvelopedgasketsforseverecorrosiveapplications.Theenvelopeservesasthecorrosionresistantmemberofthecompositegasketandisanonmetallicmaterialsuchaspolytetrafluoroethylene,PTFE,orrelatedmaterials.Theinsertsarenonmetallicgasketingmaterialswithorwithoutmetalreinforcement.OthertypesofcompositegasketsarecoveredinClassificationF868.1.2ThisstandardisbaseddirectlyuponANSIB16.21x2013;1992;forthatreasonunitsareasANSIstatedininches.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
