【摘要】:1.1ThesetestmethodscovermechanicaltestsdescribedinASTM,EN,ISOandJISstandardsthatutilizetheSIsystemofunits.Thetestmethodsineachsystemarenotexactequivalents.Eachstandardssystem(ASTM,EN,ISOandJIS)shallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningrequirementsfromanytwoormoresystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththepurchaseorder.1.2Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthemechanicaltestingofsteels,stainlesssteels,andrelatedalloys.Thevariousmechanicaltestshereindescribedareusedtodeterminepropertiesrequiredintheproductspecifications.Variationsintestingmethodsaretobeavoided,andstandardmethodsoftestingaretobefollowedtoobtainreproducibleandcomparableresults.Inthosecasesinwhichthetestingrequirementsforcertainproductsareuniqueoratvariancewiththesegeneralprocedures,theproductspecificationtestingrequirementsshallcontrol.1.3Onlyoneofthetestingproceduretracksshallbefollowed:ASTM,EN,ISOorJIS.Whenatestmethodorpracticeisnotavailableinoneofthetracksthenanappropriatetestmethodorpracticefromanalternativetrackshallbeused.TherespectivetestsarelistedinthecolumnshowninTable1.Note18212;Thetestmethodsineachsystemarenotexactequivalents.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5AttentionisdirectedtoPracticeISO17025whentheremaybeaneedforinformationoncriteriaforevaluationoftestinglaboratories.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TABLE1TestsandApplicableStandardsTestSectionsASTMENISOJISTension
